Required Deposits & Cancellation Policies at Encore's Rio Grande Valley Resorts

Required Deposit

A reservation deposit is required for stays of 30 days or more. Stays less than one week require full payment at time of reservation. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express & Discover at time of reservation.

Additional charges for electricity apply for stays of thirty (30) days or more. Pets are allowed in rental units and pet deposits will apply. A $3 daily resort fee is charged on all stays of less than thirty (30) days.

Rates are based on a party of two. Extra guest fees may apply.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are allowed with a 48-hour cancellation notice for daily and weekly reservations. A cancellation notification of less than 48 hours will result in a $25 administrative processing fee.

For reservations of one month or more, a full refund of your reservation deposit will be given for cancellations made sixty (60) days in advance of original arrival date.

For cancellations received less than sixty (60) days from arrival date, the deposit amount will be held on account for a future stay. The deposit can be rolled over for one season only, otherwise it will be forfeited.

The only exception is a death or a documented major family medical emergency, which will entitle the guest to a full refund of the deposit if the cancellation is made prior to check-in.

No refunds for early departure.
